It's been too long. I am not sure what it is about the equipment that I am using, but still have immense trouble accessing any of the links etc. from the subject area of the Flexible Learning Environment page. I tried today to have a go at the task prepared by Catherine, David and Joanne. No such luck. I will try again later and should have Sean and my task up by the end of the day.

With a bit of luck the problems you're experiencing are sorted soon Chris ...hope it's nothing to do with our task - it requires Windows XP... good luck with the "issues". Please have another try at our task if you get everything worked out!

I have some problems accessing certain things at times, so I understand your frustration. At the moment for example I don't seem to have any sound, so am having trouble listening to Ted's explanation about vlogs...D'oh!
I found that my version of XP was no longer seen to be "legit" as I had updated my computer a few months ago with a new hard drive and motherboard and not worried about checking the code. It took me ages to sort out which code I had was acceptable as I had scribbled it on a slip of paper in illegible writing. Four hours of testing and emails etc... I finally got to the task. Good task and worth the wait.

That certainly can be the problem when using either new or foreign hardware or software. They can take a bit of time getting use to before mastering (if at all). With many of the things if they're self taught it can just be a matter of getting on and persisting through trial and error. Notwithstanding I'm still not sure how to get therss symbol into my blog!! Good luck hope the equip picks up.
